Whether you want to sign in to iCloud on a new device or download something from iTunes or the App Store, you will need your Apple ID password to do so. If you don’t remember your password, you can reset it using your iPhone, iPad, or Mac web browser. If you don’t even remember your Apple ID, you can try to recover it too!

Last but not lease, if you still couldn’t reset or change your Apple ID password, try using third-party software such as PassFab iPhone Unlocker to remove Apple ID. It is not the only tool but it is the one I have tried.

That’s all about my answer to this question. I hope I can solve your problem soon.

How to reset your password using the Apple ID account page

Step 1:

change apple id password

To get started, go to appleid.apple.com and click on Forgot my Apple ID or password? Note: Your password may automatically populate the login screen in a drop-down menu, especially if you checked the Remember me box, so find it first and click to see if it works.
Step 2:

You will be directed to a page where you will enter your Apple ID (in most cases, it is the primary email address for your Apple account), and then to a new page where you will enter your name and address of e-mail. associated with the account. Click Continue, then select I need to reset my password.

Note: If you have two-factor authentication set up for your account, your screen will look different and you will be asked to confirm your phone number (more on that later).

Step 3:

You can now choose how you want to reset your password, either by email or by answering a series of security questions. The option you choose is based on your personal preferences.

Step 4:

When choosing your email method, Apple should send instructions to the primary email address you used to begin this process, or a ransom email if you decided to create one. You’ll know the email was sent when you see the Email Sent page with a large green check mark. If you can’t find the email, be sure to check your Junk, Junk, and Trash folders, or repeat the steps above to have the email sent again. Following the security questions requires you to confirm your date of birth and answer specific questions before you can create a new password.

If you ever forget the answers to your security questions

If you forgot your password, answering security questions is one of the quickest ways to get back to your account to make changes. After all, only you, or someone who knows you really well, would know the answers to questions like “Who was your favorite teacher?” But what if you forgot the answers to your own security questions? Fortunately, in case you do, changing them is also a simple process (although you will need to access your password to change them). That is how.

Step 1: Go to iforgot.apple.com and enter your Apple ID.

Change apple id password using two-factor authentication

If you set up and enabled two-factor authentication, which is different from two-step verification, resetting your password will be even easier as you can reset your password directly from an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or the account page of Apple ID. If you are not sure you have a trusted device, don’t be; When you set up two-factor authentication, you created trusted devices. All iOS devices will also need to have a password enabled.

Using your iOS device

Step 1: Go to Settings> [your name]> Password and security.

Step 2: Tap Change password at the top.

Step 3: You will be asked to enter your password. Once done, enter your new password.

Change apple id password using the Apple ID account page

Step 1: Go to iforgot.apple.com and enter the trusted phone number you sent when you set up two-factor authentication.

Step 2: Click Continue to send a notification to a trusted iPhone, iPad or iPod.

Step 3: When you get the notification on your iOS device, tap Allow.

Step 4: Follow the steps provided, enter your password and reset your password.

Note: If you no longer have access to a trusted device and cannot set up a new one, the process of changing your password becomes a bit complicated. It’s possible to get around two-factor authentication, but it’s a hassle and can take several days to verify before you can change your password.
